The NDJ-1S/5S/8S digital viscometer integrates next-generation mechanical design and refined craftsmanship for an enhanced aesthetic finish. Equipped with microprocessor control technology and an RS-232C printer interface, the instrument ensures accurate data acquisition. It features a high-brightness LED screen with blue backlighting for clear and readable data display.
Features
1. NDJ series digital viscometers measure viscosity through a motor-driven rotor operating at controlled speeds. As the rotor rotates in the sample liquid, a viscous torque is generated. The magnitude of this torque corresponds to the liquid's viscosity: higher viscosity produces greater torque, while lower viscosity yields lower torque. This torque is sensed by an integrated transducer and processed digitally to provide precise viscosity readings.
2. The instrument delivers high measurement sensitivity, strong anti-interference performance, wide input voltage compatibility (110V–240V, 50Hz–60Hz, or 12V DC), reliable results, and user-friendly operation. It is designed to measure both the absolute viscosity of Newtonian fluids and the apparent viscosity of non‑Newtonian fluids, making it suitable for a broad range of materials including lubricants, paints, plastics, pharmaceuticals, coatings, and detergents.
3. During measurement, the display clearly indicates the rotor number, rotational speed, measured viscosity value, and the corresponding percentage of full-scale reading.
4. The instrument is equipped with four rotors (No. 1, 2, 3, and 4) to accommodate different viscosity ranges.
5. The NDJ‑5S model offers four rotational speeds (6, 12, 30, and 60 rpm), providing 16 measurement combinations for testing a wide variety of liquids within its range.
6. The NDJ‑8S model provides eight rotational speeds (0.3, 0.6, 1.5, 3, 6, 12, 30, and 60 rpm), allowing 32 measurement combinations for precise viscosity analysis across an extended range of liquid samples.
